Fortnite Treasure Hunters sets sail with Crossbones Isle and One Piece crossover

Fortnite's Treasure Hunters mini-season went live on 1 November 2026, replacing the battle royale island with Crossbones Isle, a pirate-themed map for 80 players, and bringing in a collaboration with One Piece.

The season runs until 5 December and leads into a Chapter 7 finale event, which Epic has not yet detailed. Lobbies on Crossbones Isle are smaller than the usual 100 players, and the season adds new ways to get around, a treasure hunt and a schedule of extra content.

Life on Crossbones Isle

The new island mixes original locations with places from One Piece. Arlong Park and Windmill Village appear on the map, and A$AP Rocky's battleship, the $.$. Rocky, works as its own point of interest. Players can climb into cannons to launch themselves across the island, which suits the pirate theme.

There is also a treasure hunt. Captain X's mega chest is hidden somewhere on the island, though Epic has not revealed what is inside. As the season goes on, crews led by different captains, including the Straw Hat Crew and A$AP Rocky's crew, will take over points of interest.

Devil Fruits and other new weapons

The One Piece crossover is playable as well as cosmetic. The weapons and abilities revealed so far include:

• Luffy's Gum-Gum Fruit, which gives players Luffy's rubber powers
• Ace's Flame-Flame Fruit, a set of fire-based abilities based on Portgas D. Ace
• Zoro's Three Sword Style, based on Zoro's sword fighting
• Usopp's Slingshot, which works as a sniper weapon
• A$AP Rocky's Shock Rocket, earned by challenging the rapper aboard his battleship

Captain's Days keep the season moving

Rather than releasing everything at once, Epic is adding content through Captain's Days. Each one brings new weapons, new Sprites and other additions, with the first starting at 9 AM ET on launch day. Epic has not yet named the individual Sprites or said what they do.

On top of that, two weekly bonuses run all season. Mastery Mondays give players a Captain's weapon at the start of each match, and Treasure Hour Sundays boost item drops.

Battle Pass and Item Shop line-up

Portgas D. Ace and Nico Robin headline the Battle Pass, along with anime-style versions of Jonesy, Cuddle Team Leader and Charlotte. Anyone who gifts the Battle Pass gets the Dark Kawaii Team Leader Outfit style, and so does the person receiving it.

The Item Shop is releasing its collaboration skins in stages. Luffy, Nami and Usopp arrived on launch day, A$AP Rocky followed on 5 November, and the Straw Hats' line-up continues with Zoro, Sanji and a Chopper Sidekick on 7 November. Lil Uzi Vert, Buggy, Kasane Teto and Cap'n Hatsune Miku are due later in the month.
